Hydro, aka Meredith, is a mutant with some shellfish-like features. She is able to grow her own shell armor; she can shoot blasts of water, and she can generate a stunning energy around her hands that is useful in close combat.
Meredith claims she can produce pearls, but this may be a private joke.
